Are you feeling hungry??

It’s human psychology that we always want to have something new, something delicious and something healthy to eat. Because, we get distasted by having the same taste constantly in our mouth.  
In Pakistan, people prefer Chinese food most instead of having French, Thai and Italian. May be, they get everything in Chinese food what they look for. Similarly, Singaporean Rice is also very dominating dish in Pakistan and people love to have it in their special moments. 
Have you ever noticed that when we search for the Singaporean Rice recipe then why the Google search engine always gives result just from Pakistan? It is amazing to know that there is nothing as Singaporean Rice at least not in Singapore!  
The dish we call Singaporean Rice is actually originated from Hainanese Chicken Rice that is entirely different in recipe and as well as in taste and is also considered as one of the national dishes of Singapore. It is also adopted from early Chinese immigrants in Hainan province in southern China.  

All apart, I am also in love with the mouthwatering Singaporean Rice and I had just made it last weekend with a little bit change in the recipe. 
So, here is the recipe;  


Ingredients: 

  • ·        Rice                               1kg(boiled)
  • ·        Noodles                        1 cup(boiled)
  • ·        Chicken                        1kg(boneless)
  • ·        Capsicum                     2(cubed)
  • ·        Cabbage                       1(sliced)
  • ·         Onion                           1(cubed)
  • ·        Carrot                           2(cubed)
  •  

For Chicken: 
  • ·        Egg                                    1
  • ·        Corn flour                        1tbs
  • ·        Flour                                 1tbs
  • ·        Soya sauce                       2tbs
  • ·       Chili sauce                       2tbs
  • ·        Vinegar                             2tbs   
  • ·        Black pepper                    1tbs
  • ·        Salt                                   1tbs
  • ·       Crushed red chilies           1tbs  
  • ·        Oil                                     as required 


For sauce: 

  • ·        Tomato sauce                             1 
  • ·        Mayonnaise                               1 cup
  • ·        Cream cheese                             2tbs
  • ·        Salt                                             1tbs
  • ·        Pepper                                        1tbs
  • ·        Sugar                                          1tbs
  • ·        Oil                                              2tbs
  • ·        Crushed red chilies                    1tbs 
  • ·        Soya sauce                                 1tbs
  • ·        Chili sauce                                 1tbs
  • ·        Vinegar                                      1tbs
  • ·        Corn flour                                  2tbs 


Method: 

At first, marinate the chicken with all its ingredients, mentioned above for an hour and then heat the oil and deep fry the chicken. In a big pan heat little amount of oil and put the boiled rice into it and fry the rice by adding salt, pepper and chili and soya sauce. Then, keep it aside. In the same pan, fry the boiled noodles and also keep it aside. Now, put all the vegetables in the pan and fry it with salt, pepper and chili sauce.
For making the sauce again heat 2tbs of oil and pour the tomato sauce with all ingredients as mentioned above cook it for 5 minutes then add corn flour and again cook it until sauce become thick.  Now, put the fried rice in a serving dish then make layers of the noodles, the vegetables, the chicken and finally pour the sauce.   
I haven’t used fried sliced garlic and chilies for topping because I don’t like but, you can add whatever according to your desired taste. 

 Cooking is also like a game in which you just have to play with ingredients you already have, sensibly and in the end you will definitely get a new taste. I am sure you will try the delicious recipe and enjoy it with your friends and family.
