ARE WE A SOVEREIGN STATE?

The topic, on which I am going to write down the whole Blog, is Sovereignty, First of all we have to understand the concept of state and after that we will be able to understand the whole phenomena of Sovereignty. Now the question in front of us is that what is State? In actual.

So, the answer is that the state is composed with its pillars and without them; there is no existence of state. Those pillars include JUDICIARY of state, ESTABLISHMENT of state, LAW AND ENFORCEMENT agencies of state and the most important MILITARY of that state. Without these pillars, the state cannot exist in real world. Now the next question which emerges in the mind is that if these are the necessary pillars of state then what will the necessary conditions and basic pillars of Sovereign state.At that instant, the answer will also remain the same but with only one basic difference and that difference is based on these clauses and these these clauses must be implemented in every sovereign state and without these clause’s implementation, there is no existence of sovereign state. Here are those clauses:

•       Freedom of right
•   Freedom of choice
•  Freedom of expression
•  Freedom to speech
•  If someone start taking action against the laws and constitution of state , at that instant the state will take some forceful action against them
• Constitution should be superior for everyone and all pillars of state should work according to the constitution .

Now these were the basic clauses which are commonly implemented in every sovereign state. Now moving towards the explanation of sovereignty, we will say that the sovereignty always vary from country to country because every country has their own laws and rules according to their tradition, culture etc. But these clauses which I have actually explained above will remain same for every state because if the people in your state are unable to choose what they want, to express what actually they want to express, at that instant we will say that they are not living in a sovereign state, in-actual. The parameter of sovereign state is that it should provide these basic rights to its nation.

Now moving towards another dimension, in which we will understand that how, we can develop an ideal sovereign state. For this purpose, first of all the public sector institutions inside the state, should be independent, By independent we mean that there must be no pressure of any other department or according to their laws and rules, in other words we can say that, we should institution or government etc. and all institutions should work properly provide complete sovereignty to all the public institutions inside the state

Now let us understand one more concept related to sovereignty, The concept is that the people living inside the state, how those people will be able to feel that they are actually living inside a sovereign state?

This is an important question and the answer is that when the state along with government  of that state, start providing  rights to their people living inside the state, at that instant the people start feeling that they are living in a sovereign state, in actual.

One more parameter for a sovereign state is that the state must have a capability to take its decisions on its own behalf, if the state is unable to do so, then it will not be considered as a sovereign state. For example, we are living in Pakistan and in the current status-quo state along with government, has to take decisions related to operation against terrorists, without any foreign involvement or without any foreign pressure, at that now if our government along with basic state actors, take decision by its own, instant we will say that Pakistan is , in actual, considered as a sovereign state but if the decisions related to Pakistan , are foreign influenced , then
we will say that Pakistan is a state, but we will not consider it as a sovereign state.
